Why Does My Spouse no Longer Sleep with Me?
Arthur Thares
All across the country people are waking up without their spouse lying next to them. It can be an unsettling feeling to wake up and not see the person that you went to bed with. It leads people to question why and if it is their fault that their spouse won't sleep with them. Instead of blaming yourself, look at some outside factors that maybe be causing their sleeping problems.
Many people don't realize that everyone has different comfort levels when they sleep, from the firmness of the bed to the temperature of the room and everything in between. Some people may not even realize that this is the very reason that they migrate from their bed to another area of the house. If this is the case, try different things including changing the temperature, buying a new mattress, or adding some white noise.
Snoring is a great contention between many couples. When there is a spouse that snores, it can often keep their partner up all night and drive them out of the room. There are many ways to deal with snoring issues from over the counter remedies to medical machinery. Also, there are some natural remedies and techniques that can help relieve snoring.
Insomnia can also be a large factor in your spouse’s nightly vanishing act. When people can't sleep instead of lying in bed and staring at the ceiling fan they tend to get up and watch T.V. or work on whatever is keeping them up. Insomnia can be a serious medical condition that should be diagnosed and treated by a medical doctor.
No matter the reason, waking up without your spouse can be troubling. Sleeping problems can even lead to problems with relationships, health, and work. The good news is that most of these problems can be fixed, allowing you and your spouse to once again sleep together throughout the night.
